What Happened With Legalizing Weed In New York w/ Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins

WHY can’t New York pass a bill to legalize weed? New York state Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins sits down with Ebro in the Morning to break …

  1. Love all the diversity in NYC but the cost of living is just way too high plus gun laws are way too strict. Same with LA. Like visiting family in Brooklyn and LA just can’t afford to live there would be nice though.

  2. It looks to me that the black lawmakers fell for the okiedoke – instead of hurrying up and decriminalizing it no matter what, they were coerced into co-opting concerns about who will profit from decriminalization. Obviously young black and brown men and women would immediately benefit from decriminalization since they are the ones who are disproportionately arrested for possession. Black lawmakers should focus FIRST on decriminalization, and then worry later about who profits from it. The law can always be tweaked later to make sure black and brown communities are not left out of the financial windfall. But first things first – LEGALIZE IT NOW AT ALL COST. Be smart for once. Don’t let them okiedoking y’all.

  3. Ebro .. she knows the answer to when is it going to be legalize.

When they find the right way to legally tax it in new york it will be legalize throughout the State. everybody that lives in ny knows this city only cares about the bottomline.

Oh yall want it legal ? Y'all want it fully decriminalize ? okkkk

lemme set a price based on the amount you get caught with .. oh & let us build up our dispensaries first .

  4. Not to mention the history that marijuana has all throughout the world before governments decided to criminalize it or copy write it which is absurd, last I read. At one point in American history it illegal not to grow hemp which is a byproduct of marijuana but a lot of people don't know this sort of stuff, and this how politicians take advantage of us. Politicians love to play coy and act as if we the people don't have the internet in order to read up on its history, still fear mongering, and pushing refer madness.
