  7. Not that I want to be friends with any of the assholes I went to school with. I want that whole scene wiped clean out of my head. There's no room or need for them.

  8. And to set things 100% straight. I'm not motivated by any stupid arguments and fights I've ever been involved with. They were all results of just being young and dumb. I just got that trigger that people think I'm still worried about all that bullshit. I was an alcoholic and ran my mouth a lot. I deserved all the beatings I got. I'm 1000% motivated by the fact that when the perfect girl for me came along, I wasn't prepared or confident enough to seal the deal. 1000% motivated to be good enough. I've heard everyone give me the I'm good enough speel…. No I wasn't. I wouldn't be here right now if I was good enough. None of those girls way back then was any more than I liked the looks of them. I hadn't gotten to know any of them. Samantha is the threshold. I need to become what I wish I was back then. Not a stupid fucking asshole that doesn't know how to talk and has 0 confidence and no fucking money and completely out of shape and hating my job … I need to be good enough so I can quit hating myself.

  9. What I really want to do, is create a self improvement reality show. I can appreciate the podcast format that you do, but I think personally less people can be more. I would certainly learn something new often, sometimes by people, sometimes books, sometimes videos… I think what I've obviously always lacked and a lot of other people lack is implementation. You do a good job, but the focus is learning heavy. I've been learning for years. I guess maybe I'd do something more competitive. I love winning. Its my absolute favorite thing to do. I think that's why so many people say your only supposed to compete with yourself, because it's usually pretty easy to beat your last attempt.

Losing is usually designed to make you want to quit. In nature, the loser is hurt and it's supposed to make you afraid. Of course the winner gets a confidence boost and proceeds to take bigger and bigger risks. Practice is essentially friendly competition with yourself or team mates. But you can only get so far without risking actual consequences.

I understand that typically people watch things on YouTube and get competitive and don't realize they are competing with various bests in the world of 7 billion people, or close to it. I think if you view these bests as peers for friendly competition it guarantees you will get pulled up the success ladder significantly. The important thing is to remember they aren't an enemy so when you lose, it doesn't hurt as much. Their success is your success.

I want to win in every possible way I can.

  10. Keep up the good work Brian… never really liked you, but man do we seem alike…. whatโ€™โ€™s your current belt in bjj? Also, what injuries have u had to overcome: knee, back pain…? Thanks.

  12. Great stuff ive been watching you for years now, great guests who give their insights on life, their experiences, ideas etc… these things seem to be looked down upon the last number of years in media I personally find that sad, so keep the great work up thanks again ๐Ÿ™‚
