MPs argue about the legalization of marijuana (cannabis) in the UK

The legalization of cannabis is debated in the House of Commons. Matt Hancock, MP for West Suffolk, and Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, takes …

  1. Also legalising it stops underage use as per new studies in america as much as 10% with latest stats released

  2. Alcohol is so much worse. If america and other countries are already using cannabis based medicine and even now mushrooms (psilycibin) are being reviewed for medical uses… Then are the medical views different and why?

  3. I'm just happy we are moving forward, although, i do want to know where these 95000 specialists actually are? Instead you get sent to only 3 centres that costs a fortune to be consulted to.

  4. The world should follow canada legalize, regulate and let the people have say why not uraguay and us canadians are doing well and no regrets for the legal cannabis and the freedom of failed drug war results #overgrowthegovernment we can legally grow 4 plants per house hold and posses 30 grams dried buds or 4 plants that's a start for now

  5. This stupid bitch wearing blue ( 32:25) – after warbling her outdated nonsense at 300 decibels per second, she eventually goes home and tucks into her two bottles of wine ( or much heavier drink ) and gets wasted. Look at how she's losing her shit while she's speaking. That is not a healthy brained individual. And she is here making ha score decisions for the tax payers.
Listen Mrs Cuntbag….weed will be mainstream eventually. It's inevitable. U.K. has to catch up with the rest of the world eventually. UK people are looking ridiculous!!! next to all the countries that follow suit of legalising it. And this bitch is a small part of the arseholes who are doing it.

  6. Jesus. These idiots are a living parody…..order….order…..
(Tap-tap-tap). So many dead stiffs making BASIC decisions for us adults. It's disgusting that I have to live in a country painting itself as a 1st world country.

  7. I agree with not letting under developed teens not being allowed to smoke because it can damage growth. However it should be allowed for medical conditions and for regular use. the government can make so much money off this. There is more violence with it being illegal due to dodgy deals. if its legalised, no one will have to risk bad product or deals going wrong. Also more violence also come to being intoxicated with alcahole and it damages your kidneys. Weed just chills you out and makes you feel hungry. I accidentally prefer smoking to drinking. its more fun and less money is spent to feel a high. I probably get high a couple times a month. They should sell them in shops in packets. Its better than alcahole. How nicer would the world be with everyone all chilled 😂 off topic I know. But in all seriousness, it needs to be legalised. It will help alot of people.

  8. Make it over 21
Make it for adult use only !
    Soz kids

you all just get the asbestos the last government said was safe !

  9. Raise the alcohol drinking age to 21. Legalise cannabis but put a age limit of 18. Watch how half of the Uk crime rate falls over night and half of the NHS burden gone. Alcohol is much more dangerous for the body than weed.

  10. I'm not some religious nut but have a check of Exodus 30, Go on Moses 250 shekels would equate to roughly 6Kilograms lol!!
22 Then the Lord said to Moses, 23 “Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels[d] of liquid myrrh, half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels[e] of fragrant calamus (Khanna Bosm/ Cannabis), 24 500 shekels of cassia—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hin[f] of olive oil. 25 Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil. 26 Then use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law, 27 the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense, 28 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand. 29 You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy

  11. 23:33 to 23:55 an but it must be a condition that makes that choice,,, but the condition must take full responsibility and fear losing his job if anything arises, and thats you that made it that way…

  12. you're mite not qualified to be a clinician, but you can make it so the people that are qualified don't Fear losing their job making that decision

  13. it is true clinicians can now make weed prescription, but there more likely not to as they fear losing their job as of a rule that has been implemented. you made it possible to get prescriptions but at the same time made it almost impossible as the doctor must take full responsibility and fear losing his job if anything arises, and i say thats a dick move. and there are countries that have already done all the research, you just dismiss it and why ?.. i dont know, an agenda ? less arrests ? would people in prison for weed charges be let go ? court costs ? or embarrassment to omit wrong ?.. all i know is,,, you are braking and your attempt to postpone this event as long as possible is coming to an end.. stop telling why weed should be legal and start asking why it isn't.. UK citizen,, just step down.

  14. Legalising it would reduce the amount of people under 18 smoking. What drug dealer do you know that asks for ID

  15. The illegal cannabis is unregulated. It has unknown pesticides, herbicides and fungisides . The illègal cannabis in england is high in thc and very low in cbd . The high thc skunk weed is just that . It makes one sweaty , parinoid and skiddish . The cbd rounds out the high with relaxation. I have discovered that thc works in conjunction with cbd . Having too much cbd will cancel out the thc because they both attach to the same cannibonoid receptors.

  16. Literarily the only reason the government is stalling on the inevitable legalisation of cannabis in the UK, is so the big players in government, pharma and retail can position themselves in the market and develop a framework so that when the money flows (and boy will it flow!) it will be in their direction and not to anyone else.
